I am so excited to share my first gift guide with you guys! I'm a huge believer in "less is more" when it comes to gift-giving. The thought does count -- whether you're going to splurge on a gift or looking for something small, it shows when you've put in that extra effort.
1. the POSSE
I love everything about this brand -- and I'm sure you will too! The concept behind POSSE is to create timeless pieces inspired by a POSSE of muses, both past and present. POSSE seeks to design key pieces that can easily pair into your existing wardrobe.
Every Posse piece is made by hand, mostly by craftswomen working from home so that they can work at their own pace, while still raising their families! How awesome is that?
So, on my list this year; ANOUK DRESS - NATURAL - The ultimate 'mom on vacation' dress! We are headed to Platinum Coast, Barbados in February; I plan on living in this beauty. Nothing travels better than a linen dress - Hang it in the bathroom while you shower and let the steam work its magic on the wrinkles! Dress it up for date night with your partner or throw it on for chasing your little ones down the beach -- its safe to say this dress can do it all!
2. the Buffalo Farm
If you haven't checked out The Buffalo Farm yet RUN -- The best "glamping" I've ever experienced! it is seriously the coolest place, run by the sweetest family! Last year I gifted my husband a weekend away to this magical place ( just the two of us ) and I've been yearning to go back since! We stayed in the smallest yurt on the edge of the river - from the vintage Hudson Bay blankets to the the creaky wood floors + the raging snowstorm, it was truly amazing. They also have a Tipi + a Buffalo Suite which sits on the edge of the field overlooking the beautiful buffalo that call this magical place home! You can schedule a time to tour the farm and learn about the rescues, its a $20 donation to the centre and 100% worth it.

3. Zulu & Zephyr - Signature Collection
THE best swimsuits EVER! If you won't take my word for it, go ahead and get on the wait-list for their Signature Balconette Bracup + V-Waisted Brief in Olive (I'm all heart eyes + heart ache as I wait patiently). Thankfully, the shop will be fully stocked with Z+Z this coming spring/summer - I seriously cannot wait!
To make this even better -- they JUST launched a mini collection! I cant wait to see my little groms roaming the beach in these swimmies + this rash guard! Gifting kiddos matching swimsuits is a gift for mom - right? At least it is in my books! ;)
4. the Beach People - Luxe Towels
Every year I ask my husband for one "luxury" item - something I would never buy for myself, but something that is going to get a lot of use -- this year, that item for me is these amazing towels by The Beach People. Over the last couple of months I have been minimizing our home - which hopefully will lead to spending less time cleaning and more time engaging with my family. SO, where do these towels fall into this? Well, I want my home to be filled with items that bring me happiness + joy -- the simple pleasures in life. You're probably thinking -- this chick is crazy, how can a towel possibly instill all of this?? Answer: think the thickest, plushest, most oversized towel you can get and THAT is what these towels are - luxury spa at home!
I grabbed 2 of their Kids poncho towels from their Cyber Monday deal because...Kids + Poncho towels = BEST decision ever! These poncho's will 100% be making their way into our suitcases this February and will then live on the boat for the summer!
